Rumisan® urea

Urea favours the production of bacterial protein by microorganisms present in the rumen which are able to use the ammonia produced by the breakdown of urea as a source of nitrogen.

Thanks to a particular production process, Yara is able to produce technical urea for livestock use from the union of natural gas and atmospheric nitrogen.

Rumisan comes in the form of white prill with a spherical and regular shape, and contains an anti-caking agent that reduces the hygroscopic behaviour that urea naturally tends to adopt.

The urea we market and sell is intended for livestock use only, a fundamental requirement both for an optimal and safe addition to livestock feeding and to avoid potential heavy economic penalties.
