Carubine is the micronised flour obtained from dehydrated carob pulp. Carob boasts a range of properties: it is extremely appetising, it is a natural stool thickener with a remarkable anti-diarrheal effect; it has a high content of polyphenols which have a beneficial effect on the gut environment thanks to their marked ability to bind toxins and bacteria.
Adding Carrubine to animal feed can have a positive sensory and organoleptic effect both on livestock such as pigs and ruminants as well as pets.
